The Micro Puff Pant from Patagonia is your safe haven from cold chairlifts. When hitting first tracks on a powder day you've got to put up with a chilly chair ride to the top. These insulated pants stop your assets from freezing even in wet conditions. Fully reinforced to take on ski edges and tree branches, the Micro Puff is tough on the outside while being soft on the inside. Complete ventilation is available through the separating side-zips that also let you take off your pants without removing your boots. Cut for versatility, the Micro Puff can be worn with or without heavy underwear and has a lot of adjustability built in to accommodate different layers.
Bottom Line: Stay warm and dry in the cold and snow.

My favorite feature on these pants is the full length zip. I cannot stress how many times I have used that zipper to get me warm fast in uncomfortable situations. The material is a bit, um, tearable and snags easy. I have stitched them up a few times now. But the warmth to weight ratio is unbeatable. Great emergency warmth when you need it. Keeps up its loft very well too.
