Description

Merino; it's almost like magic.

Slip the Patagonia Women's Merino Crew Sweater over your head, grab your bag, and take the long way down to the coffee shop on a brisk autumn morning. Ultra-breathable, non-itchy, fine-guage merino wool takes the edge off the cool fall air and feels oh-so comfortable against your skin. Once you reach your destination, pick a spot by the window and let the stripe detailing work it's magic on that cute barista you've had your eye on all summer.

Gave as a gift to my wife, she loves it. Sizing is consistent with other Patagonia pieces. Merino is quality and comfortable. Looks great and is functional.

Got this for my Girlfriend for Christmas and it was an instant favourite. It is light enough to layer and not bulky, she can wear it to casual days at work, but still pretty warm to go outside in on fall days. Really soft and stylish. win!

Gave this as a gift to my girlfriend. She loves it. Fits super well ,and is a warm base/mid layer. Looks great as a casual sweater out, or around the house. I did order a size up.

I gave this to my mom as a gift. Looks nice and she said it kept her warm. Great product.

The negative reviews on this sweater do not appear to be aware that merino is a lightweight material that still provides warmth. That's what it does.

Anyhow, this sweater is great. I wear a thin capilene layer under it when it is super cold, or just by itself if I'm going to be inside. I was initially skeptical about the spanish moss color, but I got it anyways because the fit is exceedingly flattering.

The fit is in fact a very pleasant surprise, as my body type doesn't agree with many sweaters from gear companies. I am 5'3" 130, I got the sweater in a size medium. I am generally thin but with enormous boobs. The stripes fall just so, which means that I make loads of new friends when I wear it, if you know what I mean. Basically, if you do not want people to stare at your enormous tits, do not get this sweater...but if you do, then I think you will like it quite a lot.

Recently bought this sweater for my wife and she is super psyched on it. She loves how it is super soft, and nice and warm for how light it is.

I was excited to order this 100% wool sweater, but I was very disappointed when I received it. The material is very thin, almost like a tshirt. Not what you'd expect for a $99 sweater! I returned it.

That is one of the things I love about it! It is lightweight, super soft and a great layering piece. Bulkier is not necessarily worth more $.

The sweater is very thin and light; it give the impression being being cheap. My wife likened it to a mediocre quality T-shirt.

Not cheap at all~ precisely the opposite. Many times higher end products are thinner and lighter weight. I thought this was a good price for the quality actually.

Bought the Bordeaux color and used it throughout summer in the office - yep they run the temp down like the building is a meat locker. It's warm when layered with a thin short or long sleeve. Material is extremely soft consider it's merino. The bordeaux color is very classy, enough for a bunch of nerdy engineers for sure. Note that fit is pretty slim indeed. I usually wear a xs but had to size up for this one.

does the wool come from "humanely" treated sheep? No Muleslinging?

It would appear the sheep are very happy. You can watch the video on Patagonia's website about their merino wool, link below:
