Description

If you wanted to play the 'burn then freeze game' you'd jump out of the hot tub and into the snow.

One minute every muscle in your body is working to get you to the top of the trail. You're sweaty, breathing hard, and hot. Then you slow down the pace and the cold air instantly turns that sweaty heat into a clammy cold. The Patagonia Merino 2 LW Short-Sleeve T-Shirt helps keep you dry and insulated so you'll feel good no matter the temperature.
  • Merino wool blended with polyester gives you exceptional wicking and moisture managing fabric that is even more durable than wool by itself
  • Merino wool naturally inhibits odor so you can wear this hoody day in and day out, and it won't get too funky
  • Underarm panels and raglan sleeves team up to gives you plenty of range of motion
  • Hidden thumbholes keep your sleeves in place
  • Natural, chlorine-free merino wool and recycled polyester causes less stress on the environment
  • This garment is recyclable through Patagonia's Common Threads Initiative

I have had this shirt for a few months now. Bought another (but missed the sale price).

I have washed the shirt no fewer than 25 times. No pilling, shrinkage or holes. I always hang it to dry.

It is used for casual or gym wear. It is great for the gym; better than any of the other merino wool shirts because it doesn't get over soaked with sweat but has the odor protection of merino.

The shirt has an athletic fit but nothing close to a compression shirt fit. I am 6' 180lbs and the large fits perfectly. Not too short either.

It's my new favorite shirt. More than Ibex, Icebreaker or Smartwool. Good price too.

This is a great t-shirt. I had to change all of my layers to Merino since I started developing bad skin reactions to synthetic materials when I sweat. It wicks great, no smell, nice and lightweight so you stay cool and fits well. The one complaint I would have is that it takes to much work to wash. You have to wash on gentle cycle and with "woolite" or similar product, then should hang dry. This is to keep it from pilling, developing holes and premature wear, which is pretty much how all wool's should be washed. Like I said a lot of work, so I just do all my wools at once (socks, layers and dress sweaters)

A lot of pilling and a few holes already in my shirt from only a couple of long day trips and casual wear. Pretty expensive for that poor of durability.

The old patagonia wool was awesome - thin, soft, flexible - though not durable

This is durable. Sizing is super tight for patagonia. I always wear a medium and this one was quite snug and I'm 6ft 175lbs - a relatively thin guy. lost a lot of the flex and not nearly as soft.

hopefully the old wool comes back!
