Description

Merino with just a dash of polyester.

Patagonia's Merino 2 Lightweight Crew combines mostly merino with a touch of polyester. The idea is that the merino wool brings natural warmth, temperature regulation, and odor control, and the smidgen of polyester adds durability and strength. Slip the slim-fit Merino 2 on as your baselayer for chilly ski days, and wear this top on its own or under a hoody for fall and spring backpacking.

This combo of merino and poly is super comfortable, not at all itchy and incredibly stretchy. It's been my baselayer all winter long and continues to feel good moving into spring and warmer temps. Machine wash is just fine, and no odor stench, sizing is right on!

Great thickness and very comfortable. It's a great fit for a true XS. I'm 5'2, 108 lbs with a small bust at 32A, athletic build. Absolutely love it as well as the other Patagonia long-sleeve crews. Though the shirt doesn't look like anything special online, I sometimes where it out casually. Surprisingly, I've gotten many compliments on it.

I got this somewhere else, but I always read reviews here so I am putting in my 2 cents. The fit: the sleeves are tighter all the way down to the wrist than the IB bodyfit shirts. I am a pretty solid size 8 (5'4", a very hippy 140lbs, 34C) and the medium fits me very nicely. I wear it casually and its a tad tight in the chest compared to what I normally wear but looks cute, I have the burgundy color. The odd gathers at the shoulder/arm don't bug me. I wore it in New Zealand for 3 weeks on and off and it held up well. If it came in a V-neck, I'd get another.

First the good - cute color, nice thickness (2) layer. I ordered the medium. I am 5'8" 130 lbs. I always wear medium in patagonia. It was really tight - even for a base layer, too tight. What made me send it back and not get the large was the odd way they gathered the fabric at the armpit area (style is like a baseball jersey). I think it was to look feminine. I thought it was just odd.

I just got this item- It is like the person above said, way too small. Fit problem for sure . And why do they always color block everything? They give the guys the best colors (solid) and give the gals the ugly color block colors....sad to say this has to go back.
