Patagonia Long Haul Runners Shorts - Men's - 2007 BCS

I've been using them for a little over a year and they are holding up well. No frayed threads or rips from trailside scrub oak. The pockets are situated high enough that a couple gels don't bounce. The other nice feature with the pockets is that the material keeps gel residue from getting on my skin.

I've had mine for a year and they've held up great. When I have time to just get away in the summer I live in these. They're lightweight, dry quickly, and are just easy to live with. The pockets are all I ever need: big enough to hold keys, ID, emergency light, a tasty snack... and they don't ever flop around when full. I just want another pair for when I'm too lazy to wash them during the week.

Bottom line: My standard for running/play shorts.

I wanted a good pair of shorts for my trail runs that won't be shredded by the thorns and briars. These stand up admirably, despite being very lightweight. I also like that they come with the built-in liner.

As others have commented, the shorts are very nice: lightweight fabric very comfortable. I ordered the large as I am in between Med and Large, and they were huge, but the Mediums were a tad small. I love the features of the short: length, weight of fabric and a nice short waistband. They just didn't fit. Bummer.

These are the best running shorts I've ever owned. I use it for trail running and they are excellent. They feel great especially during the 10+ mile runs. Strongly recommend.

Needed something light weight but that also had pockets for keys/goo/misc junk.

These shorts have exceeded all expectations. Soft liner, very lightweight fabric, hip pockets have enough space for me to take along an LED headlamp for longer evening trail runs.

I love these shorts - mine are going on 5 years old. Featherlight, durable, easy to clean.

Love the shorts, but feel the side pockets make it look like I borrowed them from my wife for the day. Functionally - these are the shiz-nit.
