Soft but boxy

  • Familiarity:I returned this product before using it
  • Fit:Runs large

I liked this sweater! It was soft and cozy, and nice to look at. I gave it as a gift to my boyfriend, who is an athletic build, so he has broad shoulders, and a narrow waist. This sweater just hung off him like a sack! It is extremely generous in the waist, creating a boxy appearance. So for some it would work, but for my man it does not.

True to size warm sweater

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times
  • Fit:True to size

I got this in the Triad stripe, navy and other than getting several comments about Freddie Kruger it is very stylish. Fits true to size and is warm and soft. can wear a long sleeve or short sleeve underneath without worrying about itching or being uncomfortable. Would def buy again, in a different color.

Found mine at a thrift store

Yes, that is where I found it, and it was also embroidered with the New Belgium Brewery Fat Tire bicycle logo on the sleeve. Sweet snag for only $8! This is my favorite sweater, and like a previous reviewer, I find it to run a full size large. The fabric could not be softer. I would not recommend this as an outdoor sweater unless it is a simple day hike. This is a good sweater for cold nights when you are pub hopping or grilling in the Spring or Autumn.

    Killer Sweater

I'm about 5'7", 175 and the Medium size of this sweater fits me well. In terms of style, this is a great piece that you can wear to work, afterhours, or out in the wild. I would characterize the fabric weight as medium-heavy.

Functionally, I find that this piece works as a solid midlayer underneath a shell down to about 20F or so. You may be able to get away with it at slightly lower temps if you are a really hardy soul.

People in the market for a cheaper, slightly lighter sweater should probably look at the North Face Fairfax. Be aware that piece runs HUGE versus the listed size.
