The Polartec Power Shield fabric is super-soft, yet shields you from wind, rain, and snow with ease. A DWR coating adds even more water-resistance, and fully taped seams prevent any moisture from slipping in through the cracks. Gusseted underarms allow you to move freely so you can reach that hold high above you, and the Optimal Visibility hood stays out of your face so you can see clearly when skiing trees in a snowstorm. The two zippered hand pockets are positioned so that you can still reach them when wearing a harness or a pack waistbelt, meaning you can easily grab that snack you stashed in your pocket while you're on the skin track.
