Patagonia Inter-Continental Hideaway Skirt - Women's - 2008 BCS

Great cut and fit, very comfortable and functional. Sizing runs big, I am usually Small but in this I am Extra Small. Really is a great hiking skirt.

Think designer fit. This skirt is loose on me in a size 6 but is comfy and works. The size 4 fit better, but it did not sit as low on the hip and was too short for my tallish (5'7") frame. The Earthenware color is a nice dark taupe and looks great with black. Looked fine for a casual dinner after a day of activity. Washed and dried well.

I took awhile to get the size right, ended up two sizes down to what i orignially thought, but anyway lovely skort, fits nicely and comfortable. Good length too. I find I wear this skort all the time.
I find I have to give it an iron before I wear it, but no matter when you have to iron your shirt anyway!
Bought the earthenwear, looks excellent with dark brown tops!

I agree with the person that said a 2 would end up being too small, but a 4 was a touch too big. I usually get pants from J crew and get a petite 4, which fits great or a size 2 from gap. This is a skort and the skirt is to just above my knees, if my memory serves me right. I got the carbon which is a dark gray to almost black. the short part is a good length, which i love and the DWR finish is GREAT for misty days. I think it's femine enough to wear and no one would EVER guess it's a skort!

This runs a little bigger than the Duway skirt by the same company. I bought both in a size 4, and the Duway skirt fits perfectly, but this one is about a half size too big. I think the size 2 would be too small, so I'm sticking with the looser fit. The carbon color is a dark grey, not really black at all, but it's a nice color and will go with a lot of things.

Took it to Mexico. Great skirt. A little big but it has belt loops. It wrinkles, but some wrinkles do fall out if you hang it up overnight. Love pockets and hidden shorts. Tried on a bunch of others and liked this one. You can dress it up or down.

The sizing chart said that a size two should fit a 24-25 in waist. I have a 27-inch waist and was still swimming in two inches of extra fabric. The shorts underneath were even more oversized. It felt like I had put on granny panties that were two sizes too big. Needless to say, these were returned.
