A Powder Bowl each day keeps wetness away.
Fresh powder awaits right outside your window, so slide the Patagonia Women's Insulated Powder Bowl Pant on and head up those powder-capped peaks. Watertight zippers and a Gore-Tex membrane with fully taped seams fend off even the nastiest winter storms and winds so you're totally protected against the elements. Patagonia placed 60g Thermogreen insulation in critical areas where your legs need warmth the most.
Mesh-lined vents at the thighs let you release some steam during your hike up, and the articulated knees help you bend and kneel comfortably. The ankle gaiters keeps snow from riding up your legs, and they have a DWR finish to stay dry. A loop at the rear yoke attaches to the powder skirt of Patagonia jackets.

Best Snowpant Ever
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
I LOVE these. They are very well made and indestructible.
Quality: These are made for lots of use. They are the only ski pants I have ever had that I don't end up cutting up the bottoms on my edges. They don't look worn at all after a full season of use, even in the Goldenrod color, which is light and awesome looking.
Waterproof: I tested these in pretty much the harshest environment for moisture....The Cascades. I've never had these soak through, which is a first. They were solid when I had to teach ski lessons all day in solid downpour rain.
Warmth: These are super warm without being bulky. I was skeptical of having insulated pants at first, but am super glad to have these. It's great to be able to sit on the snow and not be cold.
Fit: I am 5'5" and around 130. Small fits great.
Area for improvement: The only thing I would change on these is the button at the top. I think it would be better with some sort of clasp that can't pop open. Occasionally the button pops open on these. Still not a biggy. ( And pretty standard on most ski pants anyways)

- Familiarity: I've used it several times
- Fit: True to size
I LOVE these pants. I'm 5'3", 120lbs and I ordered a size small they fit great. The Gortex feature was well worth the money and the insulation keeps me warm on the hill. The elastic adjustment on the inside of the pants is really nice. I ended up getting a similar Patagonia jacket once I realized how nice the pants were.
