Perfect jacket

This jacket is incredible! I am so happy I bought it. The first day I got it, I was heading out to a Jazz game. It was going to be cold at night and I wanted a jacket for when I left the game, and you ladies know that carrying around a bulky jacket all night can get really old, really fast. Thankfully, I had received my Patagonia Hi-Loft Down Sweater and it comes with a handy pouch that I can stuff the entire jacket into. It turns into about the size of a nalgene bottle, which I can conveniently stuff into my purse. It was wonderful not having to worry about carrying my jacket everywhere with me and having my hands full. Nevermind the fact that it feels like you are wearing 100 warm marshmallows when you have it on. I'm 5'10" and 140 and the medium fits like a dream. I would recommend this jacket to anyone.

Patagonia is superb! I love my Hi-loft, keeps me warm and out of all the Patagonia womens jacket this and the down sweater fit great in an xs, even in the sleeve length, which is usually a problem for me. I am 5'7" 118 lbs with a 34 A bust, making it hard to find a good fitting jacket with the right sleeve length.
One of best purchases

I love love this jacket! I have it in the green which is one of the best looking Patagonia jackets I have seen, and for some reason seems to be better quality than other patagonia jackets. I am 5ft 6 and 130-135 lbs and got the medium which looks good and is great for layering. I have worn it skiing with a shell over on really cold days and it keeps me toasty warm. I am planning to take it trekking in the Himalayas because it is really light weight and super warm. One of my best purchases ever!
Nice Surprise

Living in upstate NY, I'm always cold in the winter. I finally gave in and bought a down jacket. When I got it, it was so light I thought for sure I would have to send it back. Wrong! It is surprisingly very warm. I got the green, only because it was on sale - would have preferred a purple. I have gotten soooo many compliments on it and found an inexpensive scarf locally that matches perfectly. Very happy with it.

traded in my regular down sweater for the high loft version and couldn't be happier. great fit, the extra down boosts the warmth of this jacket - solid for 3+ seasons and all but the coldest winter days in the mountains. it is several inches longer than the regular version (~3" longer in the back) which made a big difference for me. hits 1-2" below the hips - vs. the regular version that hit at or just above hips and tended to ride up. durable nylon material and decent water repellency (not waterproof by any means, but can weather a light shower).
i got the green and it's a nice bright kelly green, love it! doesn't show through like some mentioned of the lighter colors.
regular version stuffs into its own pocket - the new high loft does not, but comes w/ a small stuff sack and packs down really well.
i'm 5'-5"/ 125 lbs and small fits perfect.
if you are debating regular vs. the high loft, plunk down the extra $20 and go for it!!
Best. Down Jacket. Ever

I'm into my second winter with this jacket and I love it! Sooo warm but light-weight at the same time. I got the green which is a lot of fun. One of the cool things about this jacket is that it stuffs into its own internal pocket!
Great Fit, Can See Down Through Shell

Great fitting outer layer, but beware of the lighter colors (I bought the Sky Blue version for my wife) as you can see the down through the outer shell. Might be an issue for some.
Love this jacket!!

I absolutely love this jacket!!! It super light and very warm! I'm tall so it's hard to find a women's jacket that is long enough in the torso and sleeves. I'm 5'11" and 150 lbs and the large is perfect! There is enough room to wear a layer of expedition weight capilene and fleece jacket underneath. The fit is also great-It has more of the feminine fit and not boxy like most down jackets. Cord at bottom is great for keeping the wind out. I would highly recommend this jacket!

I got the hi loft down sweater to replace an old version of patagonia's down jacket. I couldn't be happier with it!!
I tried on the regular down sweater before and wasn't pleased with the fit- rather boxy and wide. I also had a hard time imagining that it would keep me warm enough, considering how thin it was. I get cold very easily.
I decided to go out on a limb and order the hi loft down sweater instead, even though I didn't get to try it on (no stores carried it yet). I am so pleased with my purchase. The fit is excellent; it is longer, especially in the back, and fits slimmer in the waist. I am 5'10, 155 lbs, and the Large is great. Plenty long in the sleeves. Its not a whole lot bulkier or heavier than the regular down sweater either.
I wear it mostly by itself around town, and I can layer underneath it easily. On really cold days when snowboarding, I wear it under my shell. Its a little puffy, but i don't feel at all like the kid from the Christmas Story, which i was concerned about. In fact, yesterday was really cold and windy on the slopes, I wore a capeline long sleeve, R1 Pullover, Hi loft down sweater, and my Arcteryx shelll, and I didn't feel resticted at all.
All in all, I think that this is the best down jacket on the market! The only improvement that could be made would be to offer it with a hood.
perfect

i am in love with this coat....just got it today and i want to sleep in it....very comfortable...i got the sky blue color and it's beautiful...i was annoyed with other coats i tried being "shiny" and this isn't shiny at all...i originally wanted to purchase the patagonia down sweater, but decided, based on reviews, to get the hi loft down sweater instead because it was longer in length..plus, the specs say it's warmer....gotta love that....i am 130 lbs, 5'9", 34 B bra size, usually wear 4/6 in tops and pants and the small is perfect! fits well, very flattering...i can even wear my fleece underneath should it be super cold, but i really think this is going to keep me so warm i won't need the extra layer....i plan to wear my windbreaker over top if it's wet and cold....now, it just needs to get COLD here in PA so i can put it to the test!!! it's been 40 degrees all winter (strange) so haven't needed a winter coat....anyway, this is a great deal and a fabulous coat...BUY IT!

Love the jacket - everything is as expected! It is light, warm, and comfy. One issue that I had was the color. The photo on the site doesn't convey the actual color, which is much brighter in reality than on the photo. But I got used to the color relatively fast :)
