Everything you need.

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

Comfortable. Warm. Patagonia.....everything you need.

Merino great for itchy heads

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

I can never find a hat that is comfortable, as acrylic or wool hats make me extremely itchy. The Merino wool in this hat removes the itch factor and is extremely warm and comfortable. This is my new favorite hat!

I have one of these in blue. For a "one size" its plenty big for me. It is good quality but does not burn me up. I even wear it around the house on lazy days.

I've got an..well..an enormous head. (There..I said it!) I can't find a beanie style hat that is loose enough for comfort, all wool and long enough to cover my ears completely! It's quite maddening! Until now I've had to literally go buy Marino wool yarn and crochet my own hats! Feels great but I'd like a professional looking hat for when I'm not wanting to look like a total scruff like camping, hunting or just out snow blowing the driveway... Will this one do the trick?

This beanie should fit well, or the Patagonia Slopestyle or Brodeo beanies are even better options for bigger domes.
