Patagonia gave the Men's Toast and Jam Shoes removable wraparound outsoles for incredible versatility outdoors, indoors, or on vacation. Wear the uppers by themselves while you hang out in the house, and slip on the Skywalk 70% natural latex outsoles when it's time to get out into nature. The Toast and Jam Shoes have soft pigskin leather linings and footbeds for amazing comfort when you wear them barefoot. Thanks to their removable outsoles, these Patagonia shoes also pack very small to fit into your luggage on travels.

I really like the shoe. I have never taken off the outside rubber covering and just worn the other sole. They are extremely comfortable, but I have normal arch/width feet and I think if you had wide feet you would possibly not like this shoe.

Just looking at these I am so sold! The question I have is the wear and tear on the slipper material or the outer shell. As I have seen with other PF shoes the soles are very flexible. Has anyone had experience with unusual wear on either the sole or the slipper sole?

I have had these for just over a year and the removable rubber sole shows ZERO wear. If you wear the shoes on concrete or anywhere outside your house without the rubber soul they can get a little bit-up. Overall, however these shoes have been incredibly durable

I got these shoes last Christmas and they are my absolute favorite shoes. The leather feels so INCREDIBLE against your skin and they don't hurt my feet even after LONG days of heavy walking. I have nothing bad to say about these shoes.
