Description

This boot loves both jeans and skirts, just like you do.

When you think of a quality leather boot, you might think of sexy knee-highs or classic loggers. Patagonia fills the middle-ground with the Women's Tin Shed Buckle Boot. The elegantly styled leather upper is accented with a vintage buckle, metal eyelets, and hooks that fuse backwoods with fashion to match your dresses, skirts, and favorite denims.

  • Premium quality, naturally waterproof suede gives your look a classy touch and your toes protection in foul weather
  • Soft, supple pigskin lining at the tongue and over the mostly recycled footbed offers unmatched comfort
  • Medium support utilizes a nylon arch shank underfoot that provides puncture prevention but still allows a natural flex at the ball of the foot
  • Board lasted construction offers great stability on any surface and allows the boot to be resoled
  • Vibram sole features TC4+ rubber and a traditional boot lug pattern for grip on slick or soiled surfaces
  • Resole the boot and keep on walking thanks to Patagonia's partnership with Portland, Oregon's Mountain Soles (mtnsoles.com)

Splashing in style

I got these boots because I needed something presentable yet waterproof after moving to a rainier city, and these are just the ticket. The Tin Sheds have enough interest and detail to avoid looking like manly construction worker boots, and they look especially good with jeans. When I first put them on I found them a bit narrow across the ankle/arch, but the leather is stretching out nicely as I wear them more. The only downside is that you can't wear these boots if you are in a hurry! It takes forever to lace them all the way up: the top three holes are eyelets, rather than the hooks that you typically find at the top of tall boots, and you have to loosen the laces right down to the ankle in order to get your foot in. But they are indeed waterproof, and I look forward to splashing through many a puddle in style!

A Quality Boot---Stylish & Sturdy

  • Gender: Female
  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This boot runs about a half-size large, but I would not return them for a smaller size so that I can put my Superfeet orthotic in them, and/or a Ugg sheepskin liner depending on my activity. The color is a 2-tone grey (medium steel & dark slate) with a suede that is soft to the touch, built upon a lumber jack-ish soles that look like they will last for years!...and extremely comfortable from the heel to toe box---my toes can completely stretch out, yet the width feels perfect. These are a must have in the wardrobe and even look cute with dresses and skirts.

The Tin Shed is a great boot with a solid tread! I wore this boot right after getting it around town and got so many compliments. Comfortable and stylish.

Super-Cute n' Sturdy Boot!

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

And Patagonia does it again, another premier product that is quickly becoming my go-to boot for the season. Tuck in your skinny jeans or pair them with tights and a skirt. Love this boot. Way more feminine on than I was expecting from such a utilitarian style. True to size, slightly narrow heel, super strong leather and overall an immaculately constructed boot! Heck Yeah! Got get some!
