I haven't really hiked in them, but I did walk some long distances in them after a 32 inch snow storm. I really love these things and have worn them every day to work since I got them and walk quite a bit there and they are very comfortable and warm. Buy them and if you don't like them, return 'em.

These boots are awesome! I wear a 10.5 and bought a 10.5 and they fit perfect. I wear them with a pair of midweight smartwool socks and the combination is pure perfection for comfort and warmth. Also, received quite a few compliments today on how nice they looked.
