Description

For those as aggressive as a boar and as refined as a rich goulash.

The second generation of the skate-inspired, dirt-hungry, and moss-starved Patagonia Men's Boaris 2.0 Shoe is expected to be such a hit that it has already been hailed as the 'shoe in which I hope to die' by adventurers everywhere. Of course, we only assume this since those most passionate about the first-generation Boaris are still out there ... somewhere ... probably building their own tools and stalking boars.
  • Dense pigskin, oiled nubuck suede, and Tec Tuff upper all work in harmony to provide protection while resisting moisture and stain absorption
  • Breathable mesh lining helps draw moisture away from your skin to promote a cool feel even in hot, humid conditions
  • Durable polyester laces don't fray or stretch as easily as softer, woven textiles
  • Strobel last has a medium width, full toe box, and medium arch
  • Air Cushion Plus cushion in the heel offers shock absorption for long-term comfort on any surface
  • Medium support utilizes a nylon arch shank underfoot that provides puncture prevention but still allows a natural flex at the ball of the foot
  • Recycled foam insole and midsole offers squishy comfort
  • Stitched outsole limits the amount of solvents/adhesives used and gives the upper more longevity
  • Vibram outsole features self-cleaning lugs that shed dirt and debris for enhanced traction from one step to the next

My brother says they're the best

  • Fit: True to size

I got these shoes for my brother. He wears a 13 and has trouble finding his size in the stores, let alone a shoe that fits him right when he does find his size. He says these are the best, most comfortable, shoes he has ever had. He has worn them at music festivals. Normally his feet would get tired by the end of the night, but not with these. They have great grip in the mud, and mud didn't even get in. He wears them everyday for everything. He has narrow feet and these are a little roomy on him widthwise, but not too roomy. They would also work for someone with somewhat wide feet.

Just got these...

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size

I will post more later when I wear the crap out of these new shoes.

Color blind

So far so good, only problem is that mine are orange. Not red like the Forge Grey picture

A Must Have for the Collection

Bought these for my manfriend and he loves them. This is a great shoe to have in your arsenal of footwear. Up until these, he had skate shoes and technical hikers/boots. They fit the middle ground perfectly! They are great for for everyday use from urban adventures to biking. They offer support on mellow trails as well! If you are between sizes, go with the smaller of the two. All around great shoe!

So Comfortable

Like others have said, these are comfortable shoes. The first thing I noticed, was they are a little wider in the toe area. Which I really like because it adds to the comfort of the shoes.

Pretty solid shoe

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I enjoy these shoes, and wear them around town a decent amount. The fit for me is very comfortable, and feels true (for reference, wear size 8 in most other brands, including Patagonia). The shoes can get quite warm so something to think about. The quality with these shoes is very good too. Solid shoe all around.

Awesome

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've had my Boaris' since 2009, they've been my go to shoe ever since. The fit great, they feel great, I've had them all over the country and they have seen thousands of miles underfoot. Almost four years later they're starting to shred apart but they've held their own against what I've put them through.

Comfortable and supportive

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Great for tackling the urban jungle and comfortable for day long walks and mild to moderate hikes.
