This dress will be perfect for casual days at work and evenings with friends in the backyard. I'm 5'6", 120 lbs, and the small is a good fit. I did think that the bottom flared out a little more than what I normally like, but it's still really cute. The length is a little above the knee. The fabric is soft. There is no shelf bra, but the fabric is still pretty substantial.

Meant for bigger chested girls. Otherwise, there's just too much material cluttering the top.

I wear a small, sometimes medium on top and this dress in a small fit perfectly, though I wouldn't go without a bra on this one because the material is very soft and non-supporting so for those who love bra-tops this won't cut it. The dress is so comfortable, I wore it hiking and also tailgating at a sporting event. Hey lady who wants to give your dress, I'll take it!

Lovely soft fabric with nice drape. Washes and dries easily. Flattering cut. However, I'm a B-cup and I don't see how anyone could get away with skipping a bra underneath. I wouldn't call it "substantial." It's normal to not have a bra built into a dress, just don't expect it to do something it doesn't. It's definitely an A-line - and if it wasn't, I couldn't wear it. I'm bigger on the bottom than the top, and I usually can't wear Patagonia pants because if the waist fits, they're too tight in the thighs. As it is, I really like this dress.

I usually am super stoked whenever I purchase a new Patagonia item, whether it's in a store or online. This time that was not the case. Since I could only find the Shell Pink color of the dress in Small I decided it would work, although I usually wear an XS. The top is ridiculously large for a small. I even tried giving it to a girlfriend of mine who usually wears a Medium but she wouldn't take it...so sad...wish it would've worked...

I wore this dress to a warm weather, outside wedding and it was extreamly comfortable, very flattering cut, and awesome fit. fabric is stretchy enough so it doesnt cling, but not to the point where its hugging all the wrong places. :)
