    Another 5-star Review!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: XS

Sending a huge THANK YOU to Backcountry.com and Patagonia for giving me the chance to review this beautiful garment. It's wonderful to be a part of the great community that is Backcountry.com! Cheers!

    SIZE REFERENCE:

    Height: 5' 4.75"

    Bust/Waist/Hips: 33", 25/26", 34.5"

    Weight: 110

    Dress/Pant Size: 00/0/24/25

    Bra: 33AA/XS/S

FIT: I have this in XS. The fit is a slightly boxy and the garment runs large, though not too far off from Patagonia's *Regular Fit* sizing. If I could size down, I would, though I would say it doesn't run a whole size larger... though, almost! For me, the XS is a wonderfully comfortable fit and it runs a little long.

PERFORMANCE: The handfeel of the garment is incredible. It is the second softest thing I own (second only to a lovely hand-me-down cashmere sweater also made by Patagonia). With that being said, when I want something comfy, warm, yet pretty to wear, this is an absolute go-to! It is very warm and perfect for chilly days, and even a great outer layer in fall and spring weather when the weather is crisp.

CARE: It's worth noting that this could shrink if it ends up in the dryer, since the cotton is untreated and organic (which makes it even more of a feel-good piece, metaphorically). I wash mine in cold water, infrequently, and line dry or lay it flat to dry.

BOTTOM LINE: This is probably the best piece for gift-giving. Everyone's mother, brother, and second cousin once removed (if that's a thing) would love one. It is one of the most sought-after Patagonia garments for a reason. I would just size down, put it on, sit back and relax, and enjoy the comfort :)

I got one for my mom, too, as the pic shows :)

    Does the job

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size

This sweatshirt is extremely comfortable. I bought this for my sister and she loves it. It is very soft, and has a complimenting cut to it. Its nice for her because when she is having a lazy day and wears this everywhere she will still look stylish! I recommend to anyone!

    Cozy and cute

I got both the grey and the cream colors and I'm so glad I did. While I love my Retool snap fleece, it often feels too "sporty" to wear more casually for me (and it attracts dog hair like crazy). This is perfect to wear around the house or with jeans and sneakers, and I've also worn it hiking - super versatile! The fabric is nice and thick so it's very cozy and the quilting adds warmth and a nice style.
It definitely runs larger than the Retool so I sized down from a M to a S and I think it fits perfectly - it is also definitely longer than the Retool which I think is what makes it more flattering and less sporty. Washed and dried mine with no problems.

Great piece but runs way large

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This top is super cozy and is my new go-to for those days when you just want to wear leggings but don't want to feel like a total slob. The quilted pattern is wonderfully retro, exactly what I've come to love and expect from Patagonia. It's quite thick and warm, not a flimsy pullover. Love the collar and snap pocket details as well. My personal cons: the thread on the quilting is a bit delicate and I've had problems with it getting snagged in the wash and on my dogs toe nails. Also, I think this runs pretty large, even for Patagonia tops. I was hoping it would shrink a bit after washing, but it's still way too big on me. I should've learned from my similar experience with the Synchilla, but I'm so used to buying medium tops that I forgot!

    versatile, comfortable, cute

Great pullover from Patagonia! I can wear it solo to lounge in or easily layer it for skiing. Very soft lining which feels so great on my skin:) It got a small and feel that it runs slightly large, however these pullovers are meant to have a looser fit. Every time I wear it I get compliments. It is very cute!

    LOVE

    • Fit: Runs large

This is my first patagonia product for myself. I really wanted the red color but unfortunately was sold out by the time I was ready to purchase. I got the toasted white pullover and love it! I want it in more colors. It fits better then other patagonia pullovers that I have tried on, by being longer in the torso and in the arms. Runs a little big but I like the more relaxed fit.

    Great Pullover

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
    • Size Bought: Medium

My fiancé loves this pullover. The cotton quilt is a very cute look and very comfortable. It fit a little big on her but she still decided to go with her typical size. Great color options to pick from.

    Best. Pullover.

Gave this as a gift: "This is the absolute most amazing pullover I have ever owned. It is very soft and very warm. I love everything Patagonia, but they totally outdid themselves with this. I would recommend this to anyone! I received the violet red color, which is almost identical to the picture. I am 5'5', 105 lbs and received a Small. First perfect!"

      SO cute!

I just gave this to my sister for Christmas and she LOVES it! It's a great basic pull over, in great colors. I had such a hard time picking out what color to get her! I settled on the white and navy and it looks so classic and beautiful! Super soft. Warm but not too warm - she was happy wearing it inside and could just put a light layer over for wandering out. Great new twist on a classic Patagonia piece.

        Classic comfort

. I have athletic shoulders and like the length of medium. I went with the Toasted White. The second I tried this on I knew I was going to love it. Super comfortable. Looks polished enough for work with a classic look. Would highly recommend this pullover!

I may buy another one of these…

Great fit, very comfy, and really nice material. The quilting is unique and makes it a bit more durable than most sweaters. It also has a little rope sewn into the tag so you can easily hang it on a hook.

        new favorite sweater!

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times
        • Fit: True to size
        • Size Bought: large

Super soft cotton/ adorable quilted pattern! Love it – very flexible for the different seasons. Big enough in the shoulders and under the armpits for layering underneath

        Cozy and vintage feel

        • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
        • Fit: Runs large
        • Size Bought: XS

I love it. I got the Violet Red color and it's so beautiful, a really rich color and the red and tan/yellow accents are perfect (true to photo). I sized down to an XS because I wanted this to wear with nothing more than an undershirt layered underneath. I originally got my normal size S and it was roomier. I'd say if you want to layer more underneath, or like a roomier fit, go your normal Patagonia size. If you want something more trim fitting, then size down. Also, it's the perfect length for my longer torso.

        Best Sweater Ever!

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times
        • Fit: Runs large
        • Size Bought: Small

This is possibly the most amazing item of clothing I have ever owned. Its so good I got 2 of my sisters one for Christmas. It fits a little large, I am 5'7" and 118 lb and I usually will buy Mediums because I like things a little baggy but this was perfect for me in a Small. The only down side... not enough colors to have one for every day of the week.

        Perfection

Purchased this in violet red and I think Markie sums up my love for this pullover, as well. Great color, retro style, and perfect fit. With being tall, I can sometimes struggle with Tops being too short but was more than pleasantly surprised by the generous length allowing for great mobility without tugging it down over my hips. Will definitely buy in another color.

        New favorite

The color is fantastic (violet red), it's so soft and looks great on - a bit of a retro feel to it with the two tone colors and squared off shoulders. It fits nicely - am able to layer under it or use it as a layer under a bigger jacket. Been wearing it *nonstop* the past week, love it casually around the house or even walking out n about. Need to get in another color :) for reference I'm 5'5/122lbs/33b and the small fit great - loose, but not baggy.
