Coolweather Pant - Women's

The Patagonia Women's Coolweather Pant wicks, dries, and deflects the breeze as you trail run and cross-country ski. A fuzzy interior insulates and draws moisture away, and a resilient nylon exterior breathes and resists wind and snags. A hidden side zip pocket lets you slip your key or cocoa money into a safe spot, and reflective logos add visibility when the sun's low.

Bottom Line: Smartypants.

I bought these for cross country skiing, are they warm enough for this? They seem very comfortable but the material seems almost like a regular workout pant.

Gail,
Personally I think they're be warm enough for XC skiing unless it's colder than 20 degrees maybe? If you need a little more warmth they'd work great with a long underwear bottom underneath. Hope this helps!

Awesome!

I love putting these on! Great for running in cold weather. Thick enough to skim smoothly on the leg covering panty lines and other details that thinner tights reveal. I am 5'5" 130 lbs and the medium fits perfectly. I can stop to talk to the neighbors and feel well dressed even though it's running gear.
I wish Patagonia made a version of these in the same fabric and basic style without the reflectors, maybe with some back flap pocket that would be suitable for wearing to work.

Steph, the Coolweather Pant is actually a stretch woven and definitely won't make any noise while skiing.

Okay

I ordered two pairs of workout pants. These were the softer of the two, but the inseam was about an to an inch and a halt too short for me. I have a 34" inseam. I was also looking for something more fitted through the hips and thighs. These have a looser fit.
