- Familiarity: I've used it several times
- Fit: True to size
The Patagonia Cedars jacket (hooded or not) is great basic fleece for any outdoor enthusiast whether climbing, backpacking, fly fishing, or anything else. The body length is intended to hit just below the waist with slightly longer sleeves that come well beyond the wrists. I have heard some people complain about the sleeves being overlong but for me (6'0'' and 180lbs) the fit is ideal. It is true that this fleece does not boast many technical qualities being neither a wind or rain blocker, but I like having at least one fleece that I can use when the risk of wind and rain is minimal and breath-ability is paramount. Very comfortable and imminently layerable.
