Capilene expedition weight fleece bottoms are light and warm, I am very happy with their performance. Never once have I felt the sweat getting me cold, it dries fast and wicks moisture quickly.

... especially when you have the right underwear. On a very cold day (below 0F) I only have to wear these comfy bottoms under 3-layer Gore Tex XCR pants without extra insulation. Even while standing around or sitting in a long chair ride you'll stay warm forever (could be fatal at après-ski)!
