Description

No matter how chilly it is, the Capilene 4 Bottom has your back.

Keep those buns toasty in the bitter cold with the über-warm Patagonia Women’s Capilene 4 Bottoms. Easily layer your ski or snowboard pants over these light and compressible bottoms. The Capilene 4 wicks moisture and keeps you dry when you’re out for a tour or sitting by a fire sipping a Hot Toddy. The Gladiodor fabric treatment fights odors so you don’t scare away your friends with your funk.

Kat,
I think you could definitely wear the Cap 4 bottoms on their own. They are VERY warm, and would like fine on their own as tights.

I have Patagonia base layers in Capilene 1 and 3. I ordered a large, 5'7" and 160...when I ordered the 4's I ordered a large, but it is a little more snug. I love how they feel, but wish they fit more like the others.

These pants are so warm and non-restrictive. I wear these as under-layer for skiing and will also use these for camping in cold weather.

The size is not true. I usually wear a medium, but these turned out to be a little big. Small would have been perfect.

I wore these in 17 degree weather and the cold was not an issue at all, even though I get cold easily. They're comfortable and thick but not restrictive at all, and they stayed dry.
