Description

Your infant has room to grow in this bodysuit-and-pant set.

Rely on the Patagonia Infant Girl's Capilene 3 Top and Bottom Set to keep your little one warm when the temps dip. This moisture-wicking and breathable set has odor-blocking capabilities thanks to Gladiodor technology. In addition, adjustable side snaps on the bodysuit allow for one-and-a-half inches of growth, while extended cuffs and leg openings roll down as your infant grows. The Capilene 3 bottoms also have an expanded back gusset for plenty of diaper room.
  • Cut the Grow-fit stitches when your child grows to add two inches of extra fabric in the sleeves and legs

Always wearing this!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

We love this! is is a great weight for spring, fall and layer for winter. It runs large but its ok because the cuffs are tighter so it fits with room to grow. So I wouldn't recommend sizing down. The body suit has extra snaps so it can be a bit tighter or looser. Very durable.

Wish for Cap 2

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These are nice, but a little warmer than I hoped for, with a shiny finish (I'm used to the matte breathability of Capilene 2... I think it'd be excellent if Patagonia released other weights in their infant Capilene). The 12M fit comfortably through 18M of age with the grow-fit feature. The neck is wide which makes getting them on easy, but a little drafty around the neck on their own. Excellent diaper-friendly location of three simple snaps compared to almost all other onesies out there!

Looovvve Patagonia Baby line...

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Patagonia has nailed it. Thin, light-weight material that's baby friendly and will keep the kiddos warm. My little person fits into this perfectly. I used the 'size chart' provided, ordered and crossed my fingers. Not a single complaint out of me.

Cute Color

I bought this as a baby gift for my sister. The color is super cute. They seem to run larger, so you can go down a size if you're trying for a specific size fit.

a great set for our winter hiking

I waited for this to go on sale because frankly, I just can't justify spending the money on Patagonia stuff at full price knowing that the little man is going to grow out of it so quickly. The rippin deal on this set, though, allowed me to sponsor him a great set for our winter hiking.

Huge and heavy

Patagonia's infant sizing runs super large, be forewarned. I bought a size 3M for my three month old, and was shocked at how HUGE it is. She's my first child and i'm not sure how fast she's going to grow, but compared to some of her other clothing, (Carter's 3M fits her perfect) She might fit into it better at 6 months. BUT i have not washed it yet and so i suspect that it could shrink maybe a little.

Also I could only find midweight capilene. The material seems too hot for a summer hike, and maybe better suited as a base layer for winter OR a sleeper for summer camping.

I live in utah and its hot in the summers. I was looking for something lighter and cooler for day hikes, to keep sun and bugs away. It was also not as soft as I had hoped it would be. I would much rather put her in a lightweight bamboo one piece than this.
