Description

Your infant has room to grow in this bodysuit-and-pant set.

Rely on the Patagonia Infant Girl's Capilene 3 Top and Bottom Set to keep your little one warm when the temps dip. This moisture-wicking and breathable set has odor-blocking capabilities thanks to Gladiodor technology. In addition, adjustable side snaps on the bodysuit allow for one-and-a-half inches of growth, while extended cuffs and leg openings roll down as your infant grows. The Capilene 3 bottoms also have an expanded back gusset for plenty of diaper room.
  • Cut the Grow-fit stitches when your child grows to add two inches of extra fabric in the sleeves and legs

I bought this as a baby gift for my sister. The color is super cute. They seem to run larger, so you can go down a size if you're trying for a specific size fit.

I waited for this to go on sale because frankly, I just can't justify spending the money on Patagonia stuff at full price knowing that the little man is going to grow out of it so quickly. The rippin deal on this set, though, allowed me to sponsor him a great set for our winter hiking.

Patagonia's infant sizing runs super large, be forewarned. I bought a size 3M for my three month old, and was shocked at how HUGE it is. She's my first child and i'm not sure how fast she's going to grow, but compared to some of her other clothing, (Carter's 3M fits her perfect) She might fit into it better at 6 months. BUT i have not washed it yet and so i suspect that it could shrink maybe a little.

Also I could only find midweight capilene. The material seems too hot for a summer hike, and maybe better suited as a base layer for winter OR a sleeper for summer camping.

I live in utah and its hot in the summers. I was looking for something lighter and cooler for day hikes, to keep sun and bugs away. It was also not as soft as I had hoped it would be. I would much rather put her in a lightweight bamboo one piece than this.
