I have always loved Patagonia Capilene and I wear them for all of my mountain adventures. However traditional bottoms have always given me pain when I wear them with ski boots (I have large calf muscles that make boots hard to fit- even after having my linings custom heat molded). I found these shorter length Caps and they are a God-send! I wear them with my Smartwool ski socks and have no more pain while charging down the slopes. Now I can focus on improving my mad skills instead of constantly adjusting my pants/ socks/ boots. Highly recommended!

Love, love, love these! Skiing in Maine, it can get pretty chilly! These are warm without the bulk! Also, love that these fall just above the ski boot! No more folding the long underwear up so it doesn't kink inside the boot!
