Count on the Patagonia Women’s Capilene 2 Zip-Neck Shirt’s moisture-wicking, quick-drying, and odor-fighting properties when you hit the slopes this spring or go for a trail run in the autumn air. This slim-fit shirt’s stretchy fabric feels soft and moves with you when you sprint up the trail-head or rip turns down the slopes. And thanks to its all-natural construction, the breathable Capilene 2 is fully recyclable through the Common Threads program.

  • Gender: Female
  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

The Medium was too large for my 141 lb, 38C, 30-31" waist and 38" hips. I didn't care for the loose fit and very thin material.
The shirt is pictured as white/grey, which I would have liked. It is actually lighter grey in the bodice and obvious dark grey in the sleeves. Not a great combination for my skin tone.
Back it went.

I had to get one of these for my girlfriend because my shirt (exactly the same, but the men's version) kept vanishing into her backpack. I would assume that she wouldn't be stealing it for every trip if this shirt didn't rock.

this is a v lightwt shirt-- thin! it's great for those days when it's cold enough to want to wear a long sleeve but you don't want want it to be super thick/heavy the whole time. i like wearing it when the weather is around 60-60F for running or when it's cool on a route climbing.

XS fit great for a 5'3" girl w/ no chest. ;)

Usually I stick with the cap 3 tops because I am cold blooded, but I recently purchased a 2 for fringe seasons (not everything revolves around snow, I know...I know...). Needless to say, it has made me start to rethink my baselayer weight preferences. Lightweight but warm, breathes very well (I was using it as a sun protection layer on a hike last week), and is cut nicely. The baselayers from Patagonia have always fit well (now, if only that were true for the mid layers...)

In sum - great for spring/summer/fall, we'll see how the winter treats me but I have high hopes. Maybe it's time to retire the cap 3?

I bought this shirt in blue, and orange and red.
I ordered a small. This is pretty true to size.

I like this shirt because it is slender but does not ride up and show my stomach. It is extremely comfortable. The orange and red color is a bit bright but I wear it for hiking. However, I wear the blue often to work.I highly recommend
