Even without sleeves the Patagonia Men's Capilene 1 Stretch Tank can protect you from the sun and help move sweaty moisture away from your skin so you stay dry. Patagonia treated the stretchy fabric with a Gladiodor treatment that fends off funky odors so you won't smell like a locker room after a day on the trail.

A shirt that does what it's made for.

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times

I don't always go sleeveless but when I do... Now, I can't say I go out of my way to wear this shirt, not because I don't like it but honestly because I typically like the extra protection of wearing sleeves. It's when I need to blend some tan lines that I pull this shirt out because in all honesty the function of this shirt is spot on. The super thin, stretchy material does an excellent job of staying dry and breathing really well, and unlike most of my synthetics it fends off funk a lot better. I wouldn't say its baggy, but its not an athletic fit either, opens up a little at the waist while being a little more snug up in the chest.

Great style for skater types

  • Familiarity:I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

My boyfriend and I have just started running. I bought these shirts as a good starter place. The shirts do fit rather loosely and the length is quite long. My boyfriend is 6 foot and he just loves these shirts. They resemble a skater fit with the loose material and length. These are great shirts for short distance running, working in the yard, or just relaxing around the house.

Cheap price, Cheap quality

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times

I had high hopes for this shirt (I bought 2) to replace my worn-out running tops. The fit is way too loose, the moisture wicking is non-existent and the material started to deteriorate after one run with a Camelbak. What a let down.

nothing special

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

I'm 5'7" and bought S size. Though I'm not skinny, I still got a very loose fit and the length is too long for my taste. Probably should have chosen XS for a really slim fit.

I was going to use this shirt mostly for running during summer, but it appears that after about 20km of running I got nipples sore. Yet it still behave nicely if I run less then 15km.

So giving its price the shirt it ok. Just nothing special about it.

my go-to shirt for hot weather hiking

This is my go-to shirt for hot weather hiking. I sported one of these on last summer's Rim-To-River dayhike of the Grand Canyon, a 17-mile trek in 113 degree weather, and it performed like a champ. They are great for the gym as well. I picked up several in various colors when they went on sale.
