Excellent Synthetic Boxer Briefs

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

As many of the other reviews have alluded to, these synthetic boxer briefs fit perfectly to size, and did not ride up nearly as much as my merino wool ones. I've been wearing them now for 6 months with no holes or problems.

Oh, and they feel like a pillow cradling your groin.

Comfy boxer briefs

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

I have a 29" waist and the small fits perfectly. They are more form fitting and aren't as high-waisted as the exofficio's. I don't find that they ride up much and they are made of a light material, so I tend to forget I have them on.

Awesome pair of underwear, very stretchy and comfortable. They don't tend to ride up as much ExOfficio's seem to, and I like the shiny/slippery feel of the Capilene better then the textured feel of the ExOfficio's. Breath great and dry super quick.

Best Synthetic Undies Out There

For my money, the Patagonia Capeline 1 Stretch Boxer Briefs are the best synthetic first layer that you could put under your pants...Period. They stretch and move with you, they don't gather, and they breath well enough to tackle the hottest days of the summer under strenuous activity. I recommend the full length (long underwear) version for winter activities as well...Big Fan.

Nice and stretchy

These are great briefs. Just got them last week. More shiny and stretchy than i anticipated, but not a bad thing at all. The lightweight boxer from Patagonia is more like what I was expecting. I think they are both great. This really moves with you and hardly feels like you have anything at all. I have a 32in waist and the M is perfect.

Good Synthetic Boxer Briefs

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

The Patagonia Capilene 1 Stretch Boxer Brief is super comfortable and is really all that I was looking for out of a synthetic boxer brief. The stitching is very smooth and comfortable, I use these for hiking and they make it so that I can hike for days!

New favorites!

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Bought the black and liked them so much I bought the gray. 6'2" 170 lbs w/ 33" waist and the medium fits perfectly through the thigh and waist. Lots of stretch, they don't ride up at all, and very comfortable. I used to think the ExOfficio boxer brief was tops, but these have taken over as my favorite underoos.
