The highly compressible, breathable Patagonia Men’s Capilene 1 Long-Sleeve Crew pulls moisture away from the skin, so you stay dry when you start to heat things up on the trail or on the ski hill. The silk-weight fabric is quick-drying and feels great against your skin, plus the fabric is made from recycled polyester and can be recycled itself when (if ever) you replace it.

No getting away form it...

I have tired many different types of poly-pros over the years but there is just no substitute for the Prettygonia. They are light and wick well and it always seems to keep you just the right temperature. The chest and shoulder articulation are both dramatically better than other products out there.

Great shirt for wearing on the bike. Very comfortable, fits just right and feels good on your skin. Patagonia considers this a slim fit but I think of it more as an athletic fit, fits snug but not tight. It is not compression fit like some other baselayers.

Wicks moisture so well, bottom line, great shirt.

I have ordered two of these in black. The Fall 2011 is made in the USA from imported materials, and the other says made in Columbia. I referenced Patagonia's website and it lists the 2012 run is made in Columbia. Hope that helps. Heres the link to Patagonia's page for this top.
