You aren�t really sure how it makes you feel sexy per se, but you love how the breathable fabric wicks moisture away from your body, protects you from the sun with a UPF-15 rating, and keeps odor at bay with Guardian odor control.

Bottom Line: Breathable fabrics are totally sexy, right?

Live up to the hype

Capline is worth it. I've had other long johns and they just don't measure up to Capline 1. These are light, stretchy, and fitted for active people. They add just enough insulation for winter mountaineering and snowboarding under my (uninsulated) hardshell pants.

Won't hike without them...!!!

I bought my first pair of Pataongia Capilene 1 bottoms when I was hiking the Appalachian Trail. I bought them as an extra layer to deal with the cold weather. They turned out to be my best investment of the entire hike..!!
They work great by themself or under a pair of rain pants. They wick away moisture effiently and dry quickly. They fit great, and are very comfortable when I'm running or hiking. When I'm hiking I always them in my pack, they are great to sleep in on warm summer nights..!
