Polygiene or Gladiodor treatment ? I was confused by Patagonia official site and backcountry. Which is correct ?
Patagonia's site is correct-- we'll get that information fixed soon! Patagonia switched from Gladiodor to Polygiene (which uses silver salt ions) for odor control in the Fall of 2013 because Polygiene is a more sustainable product, and longer-lasting to boot. Hope this information helps!
"Since 1993 we've eliminated the need for over 20,000 barrels of oil and have kept millions of plastic bottles from the waste stream."
Light and Hot
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Fit: True to size
This thing is interesting. When I got it, the material is almost like a heavy mesh in the way it looks and is somewhat transparent. So I was worried it wouldnt really be that warm. But I used it for the first time on October 29th skiing Guardsmans Pass in Utah and it was HOT! This thing is going to be great for deep days in the Wasatch, I can't wait!
