Nice wheels, zipper
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
This bag is pretty pricey but well worth it in my view. Overall construction is pretty bomber. The only downside is that it's REALLY easy to hit the 50 lbs. weight limit for domestic flights. I just flew with two pairs of skis (Rossi Squad 7 190s, Rossi Experience 98 180s), poles, and some clothes and I was right at 50 lbs.
It's a Black Hole
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Fit skis (190cm), poles, snowboard, bindings, snowboard boots, goggles, basic avy pack, helmet. Bag size is perfect for flying. Not to big where you are over the 50lbs limit. Burly bag!
Patagonia Black Hole Snow Roller Weight
The listed product weight 12lb 5oz is too high - I confirmed after I received it that is actually only weighs 8lb 4oz, which is quite a bit lighter than listed. Bought 190cm length, and barely fits my new 190 Moment Bibby's which run a true 188.1 cm tip to tip.
If it holds one snowboard, can it hold a pair of skis and a snowboard?
You could probably get skis and a snowboard in there. The skis are going to have to go on top of the snowboard.
