Highly water-resistant thanks to the TPU-film laminate and DWR coating, and super durable because of the 1200D polyester fabric, the Black Hole 45L can take a beating—and keep rolling.
You can throw this bag around by its haul handles without fear, because the bottom is padded with foam to protect its contents; and when you're traversing nothing but concrete, use the telescoping handle to pull this puppy and let the wheels do the working. Patagonia knows that load and tie-down options are essential with gear bags, so it has provided four corner-mounted webbing daisy chains for the big loads. Getting into the bag is a snap, with the U-shaped lid to the main compartment. Stay organized with the zippered exterior pocket and two zippered internal mesh pockets.

I got the Patagonia Black Hole 45L Wheeled Duffel bag a couple weeks ago for a trip to Scandinavia and was impressed by how much stuff I fit in it - it was perfect for my 6-day trip. The best part is, is this bag still fit in the overhead compartments completely full without any issue - it rolls very smoothly and is constructed from a very durable material. This bag is the perfect compliment to my smaller rolling duffel (good for max 3 days) and my huge dakine split roller that can basically carry everything I own. I have a feeling I'll be using this Patagonia Black Hole 45L roller more than either of the other two bags I have, as it's the perfect size.

I've said it before and I'll say it again! The Black Hole is the best luggage on the market. It doesn't mater if its crammed in an over head compartment or tossed in the dirt next to your tent, the Black Hole can do it all! I love this bag so much I had to grab one for my brothers when they moved to school recently.
The durable TPU ripstop polyester can handle any beating you send its way. I have been using my Black Hole for years and it still functions like new. The wheels feel solid and the retracting handle feels sturdy.
