Description

When the sun beats down, pull out the Bimini.

Sun-soaked beaches, scorching desert landscapes, and bluebird days on the river require the comfortable protection of the Patagonia Bimini Cap. This nylon hat features a long rear drape to cover your ears and neck and a large, floating bill with a dark underside to cut glare. The Coolmax headband wicks moisture away, and the adjustable buckle lets you dial in your fit.

I think your pop-ups might be blocked or there's something wrong with your browser. Sizing for the Patagonia Bimini Cap is as follows:
S 6 1/2" - 6 7/8"
M 7 - 7 1/4"
L 7 3/8 - 7 7/8"

Hi Greg,

In case this helps, it's measured in head circumference:

Small - 20 1/2" - 21 1/2"
Medium - 21 3/4" - 22 3/4"
Large - 23" - 24 1/2"

This is the second version of the Bimini. First version had a detachable shade which made this the most versatile cap around. It was fantastically adjustable and the extra long bill was great for really shading your eyes from glare. Version 2 sucks because you can't remove the neck drape. For every day I spend on the beach, I spend another 355 where the drape is a pain. Too bad Patagonia. Why did you screw it up?

Cut the shade off like I do and use the "Buff" for all around the neck protection which is much better than any shade.

I ordered this hat for long spring days on snow in the Sierras. Back tail is so stiff it really bugs me. Actually need to send it back soon. Looking for a hat with a shade in back where the material is far softer.
