On a chilly day, zip up your regular-fit Patagonia Women's Better Sweater Full-Zip Hoody, and window shop on Main Street. The sweater-knit heathered fleece fabric gives this hoody the look and texture of wool, yet the inside looks like soft polyester fleece. Patagonia gave the soft, cozy Better Sweater several pockets to warm your hands and hold your cash and cell phone.
Bottom Line: The look of wool with the easy care of fleece.
Or most fleece for that matter! This is cute, fits well, and is very comfortable. I would buy every color, with and without hoods, if I could afford it and replace my wool and even my cashmere sweaters because I would get way more wear our of this. I have sensitive skin so I rarely wear sweaters and this looks nice enough to wear to a casual work environment without the itch factor. I don't have thin arms and I love the long, lean fit, which it difficult for a 5'9" girl to find! It will even compensate for your low rise pants when you bend over!
I was so stoked about this lovely warm hoody. It looked like exactly the sweater that I've been searching for: hood, warm, made of recycled and recyclable polyester. How cool! I originally bought a small, which fit me perfectly, except in the upper sleeves/shoulders. It felt like the sweater was trying to cut my arms off at the armpit/shoulder intersection. If you have muscular upper arms, this is not the sweater for you. Otherwise, I'd say go for it. It's a beauty!

I work in the wilderness and need to layer... do not buy this sweater unless you have thin arms. The sleeves are so narrow that it is binding to wear much with it. Also note that it is a longer sweater and so if you have hips or ride horses it rides up and creates unflattering bulges in the front. The material is great and if you don't have hips or horses you'll be happy.
Love my new hoodie..it's form fitting and super soft and cozy and that great Patagonia quality. It has a refined look rather than sloppy or too chunky, thanks to the outer sweater-faced knit, which is still miraculously made of fleece. I love you Patagonia! I should mention though that I first ordered the Natural, expecting an Oatmeal color as it appears in many photos, and it is very much a dove grey. I returned it for the brown and it is nice with my blonde hair and goes with everything and won't show the dirt when I play with my two little boys. I want it in more colors too! Re. size, I normally wear 4 or smaller, and Size Small is lean but roomy..I might have preferred XS on the body but I like it long. Looking forward to more SF Bay cool foggy weather so I can wear it all the time!
I love this hoody. Only problem is that even with a size large (I'm usually a medium in Patagonia gear), the sleeves are very tight. I wanted to wear this over a long sleeved tshirt during the cooler/colder months, but the "lean" sleeves were a deal breaker and I reluctantly returned it.
The look of this hoodie is nice. Not bulky and messy looking. Usually wear XS in Patagonia, but it is lean so ordered the small. The compromise is that the sleeves are a bit too long. It is not as warm as I expected. You can feel the wind through it. Also, had a funny smell so I washed it before I wore it and it didn't release the water in the spin cycle. It was soaking wet and took a long time to dry.
Or most fleece for that matter! This is cute, fits well, and is very comfortable. I would buy every color, with and without hoods, if I could afford more...
