I got this as a birthday present and I love it. It is a great little beanie, ideal for those cooler winter days. I use mine for early morning runs, so I prefer a thinner/breathable hat (it also fits well under a helmet or hood). If you are looking for heavy duty warmth and or wind resistance you may want to look elsewhere, perhaps the lined version of this beanie or the MH Dome Perignon Beanie.
Great fit, comfortable material, thin profile, warm… all the things you need from a beanie.

Nice hat, love that it is plain black with just a Patagonia icon on it. The only bad thing with the beanie is that it is pretty big. I have a big noggin to begin with and it covers it easily and it is not tight.

This beanie is surprisingly warm and stretchy. It is not binding on your head at all. I thought it would be too thin to be warm, but I was wrong. It's perfect also for wearing under a parka hood.
