Nice lightweight dress with fairly roomy cut. Just be aware it bares a lot of cleavage -- didn't feel comfortable wearing to back-to-school night, for instance!

It's too cool and comfortable and cute for words-- I'm 5'2/106 and XS was perfect for me-- Very flattering if you've got a girly girl figure (boobs, waist, hips)--probably not so for the flapper look! If they had it in other colors, I'd buy them too--

I'm 5'4" and 115lbs. The small fits perfectly! The fabric is comfortable on a hot day, versatile enough that with a nice sweater can also work on a cool day. It's the perfect dress up / dress down outfit! I would get one in every color if I could!
awesome. would love to get other colors.

got it in black-wish there were other dark colors (teal, burgundy, brown, etc) available. i am 5'8" and about 135 lbs...but that varies from 130-140+ and this dress is FINE for that whole range. the top is very flattering and not too small since it stretches (i often have issues with small sizes not having enough cup space)...in fact the cut provides a tiny bit of support. note there is no built in bra, though. its long enough to wear to work with a camisole underneath to limit the cleavage and its also cute and comfortable for biking, traveling, etc. probably wearing it to a wedding also. don't love the weird seam down the front, but its not that noticeable. also wish it werent such an artificial fabric (kind of feels like bathing suit material) but it does make it wrinkle-free and quick-drying (and probably contributes to it being so flattering) so thats awesome for traveling. i put it in a delicates bag and wash on cold and lay it out to dry-doesnt show any wear yet (~10 washes). also, i have a belly, and unlike others who have commented that that's a problem, i don't find it to be so. maybe its because i got the black color or i'm past the early-20s "caring about my belly" phase...
Works well

This dress fits well, size small (I am 5'2", 105 lb). Often I am XS, but a small is needed in this style. The teal color was as shown. You can shove this dress in a backpack and get it out later, wrinkle free. Would prefer a more natural fabric, but that is hard to find. Not exactly what you would call a light-weight fabric, probably will wear well though.
Great dress...but if you have any sort of stomach...I'd say stay away

LOVE the dress...unfortunately, I've gotten quite chubby and this shows ALL of my body....perhaps wishing it was loser around my middle...and it's low cut as you see from the pic...but if I were to tighten up my middle then I'd be like everyone else and say I love it to pieces...
but at 5'4" and 145....a large is tight around my middle....at little too hugging...but it's not the dress' fault...it's mine.
But I wanted to let the heftier girls know....
Flattering

I have the older, longer version of this dress, which is so super flattering, comfortable, and effortless.
I loved the dress so much that I bought two of this shorter version, which I like better.
The shorter length works well for my petite stature. I wear this to work, bbqs, and even if I want to feel fancy while camping. It is beyond comfortable, and very fetching. Definite score!

I'm 5'4 110 small shoulders and I'm an XS and it fits perfectly, I also have one in a small cause I really wanted that color and it's just a bit bigger in the chest but otherwise fits me, i'd say a Medium if you have a bigger chest.
Miss the original version

What a shame they changed this dress. I have four of the old style and I'd still buy more - but this version was a disappointment. This version was made of WAY too thin fabric. Showed everything - was pretty much see through. A camera flash would reveal even more. I really miss the old fabric, cut, and length - it could be hemmed if necessary. The new one is just not flattering. Too bad! Glad I bought so many of the old one!
Not quite the old one

The older version of this dress was a bit longer, and had much less clingy fabric. This one definately shows what's underneath more. That said, I could wear my old one (s - I bought a second a year after the first because I loved it so much) 24/7: to bed, to the beach, to a dinner out! Liked the old length and fabric much more.
Outstanding

If there were 10 stars I would give this dress 10, I just ordered it and can't stop wearing it. I got this dress in Amaranth XS for a trip I'm taking to Thailand and it's absolutley fantastic, I've worn it out for drinks with the girls, moving into my apartment, running to the grocery store, I will be purchasing more colors I think as it's the all purpose dress and so incredibly flattering. I'm 5'4, 110lbs and it is the perfect length and fit.

Hi! Not sure if you're going to get this, but I am about the same size as you. My bust size is shamefully small, and if you are the same, would you mind telling me how it fits and looks in the chest? Thanks!

The chest is perfect, I'm small too, about a B cup but I fill it out nicely and it drapes well so I feel like it actually helps enhance pretty well just because of the cut, I'd give it a shot for sure, I'm wearing it as we speak and LOVE IT! :)
Strange seam

A few years ago I ordered a Patagonia top that looked really cute online. The fit was flattering, but there were seams running diagonally across each boob. As soon as I tried this dress on, I realized it was the same style. The seam across the boobs ruins this dress for me. Otherwise it is a flattering dress.
Love this dress!

I LOVE this dress - comfy, flattering, fits true to.size. I got an xs - i'm 5'1" & 115lbs & have a hard time finding clothes that aren't too big. My only complaint is that I have gained several pounds recently, & if I manage to lose it, i'm pretty sure it will gap in the chest, as I barely fill it out now. Sigh. No clothing love for short, flat chested women...unless you wanna shop in the little girls' section.

I feel like I give everything I review 5 stars - I've been lucky with my purchases, I guess!
I've been eying this dress for a while now, finally bought it in Amaranth. XS fits me well, despite Patagonia's usually too-large sizing. The length is a very flattering at-the-knee look (where I prefer my skirts and dresses) and the fabric is slinky enough that it hangs very nicely.
Equally as appropriate on a warm summer apres climb as out to dinner. Love the color, too, it is rather bold. Seriously considering picking this up in a few more colors. Just enough stretch to hang perfectly.
