To keep her smiling.
With the same smooth, water-resistant shell and quality goose down filling as the incredibly popular adult version, the Toddler Girls' Patagonia Down Sweater is sure to help keep a smile beaming as bright as the snow. When temps really dip and wet snow starts to fall, simply zip another jacket or fleece over the Down Sweater and she'll be ready to get back out there for a series of snowball, sled, and ski adventures.

- Q & A
Great girly toddler coat!
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: True to size
My 2 and 4-year old kids both have these jackets and they are by far the most versatile piece in their wardrobes! I feel these jackets are true to size and my kids are pretty average size for their ages.
If you know 2 and 4-year olds, they are not easy on any piece of clothing yet these jackets have lasted nearly a year already with no rips, tears, or zipper issues. (And the kids always want to zip them up themselves and despite being rough while doing so, the zipper has stayed on it's track all the while!)
My kids have also spilled so much hot chocolate, oatmeal, milk, (and an occasional booger!) on these jackets and they never seem to look dirty, especially the Andes Blue color which my son is wearing. The mint color shows stains a bit more, but is surely no less durable. I have washed these jackets before in my washer on gentle cycle as well. They seem like the down is non-existent when they come out of the wash, but when you let them air dry, the down puffs back up again just like new!
They have worn these jackets year round since we got them in Fall 2014. We recently went camping and they were perfect for the cool late afternoon temps in the shade hanging out and also for early in the morning when the temps were in the 40's. Some embers from the campfire even landed on these jackets and didn't hurt the material! My son even wore his skiing last year when we forgot to pack his ski jacket one day. He reported that he was cozy warm but not too hot. (That balance is essential for happiness out on the slopes when the little ones are new skiers!) They have worn anything from t-shirts to bulky sweatshirts underneath and both work fine.
These jackets are also great for traveling. They pack down to nothing and look just fine even after being in a bag or backpack all crumpled up!
As you can see, there are certainly no complaints from these little munchkins about wearing their Patagonia Down sweaters! I highly recommend for durability, performance, and of course, cuteness!
One more thing - I can't help but also recommend the adult versions of this coat but with a hood - http://www.backcountry.com/patagonia-down-sweater-full-zip-hooded-jacket - same durability and performance for adults! We all have them!
