The Patagonia All-Time Trench is proof that suit money and hippie ideals can indeed coexist. Who better than Patagonia to provide the eco-conscious, weekend-war-waging urban prisoner with protection from the elements? The All-Time Trench not only stops a downpour in its tracks, but looks the gent to boot, smuggling recycled fabric and H2No waterproof technology down the halls of the soul-sucker we call "the Office" far better than a traffic-cone-orange ski shell. And standing next to its coated-cotton ancestor with the plaid lining and the absurdly high price tag, well...that's kind of like comparing apples to invisible fighter jets.

Bought this coat to replace a crappy overcoat and a near-antique shell. I was hoping that this would be able to take some old zip-in compatible items but the zippers don't quite match (just means I need to buy some new kit).
Pros:
Great coverage (almost to my knees, and I'm 6')
Waterproof
Lots of pockets (Napolean, interior, two hand)
Cons:
I'd like the front napolean to be hidden (look more professional)
The logo could be more subdued

The Patagonia All Time Trench hits just above the knee actually, and is designed to provide full coverage over a sport coat, and long enough to sit on and stay dry.

For in the city use in our rainy part of the world, the Swedish west coast, it is briliant. Looks better than a longer skiing jacket and the zip-in fits both my Marmot down jacket and my Mountain Hardware fleece jacket. Neat! Highly recommended
What are the measurements of the trench? Specifically, how long

For the time being the Kalispell is the only compatible jacket to zip into the All Time Trench.

This jacket is awesome! I live in MI and I am in outside sales. I wear a suit and tie to work everyday. I had been looking for weeks for a quality mens dress coat that I could wear with my suits and came upon the Patagonia Mens All TimeTrench.I have had it for about a month now and not a day goes by where I dont get at least one compliment on what a sharp sleek jacket it is. Highly recommend the Kalispell zip in which takes this jacket froma just a rain coat to a jacket that can be worn in the Fall, Winter & Spring. I am 5'9" 160 lbs. the large was huge on me returned for a medium and it fits awesome! Highly recommend!!!!
