I'm looking for a durable climbing pant like the old Rock Bottoms. Do these pants hold up or are they just like the rest of the new wave Gucci, looks cute but don't last pants?

these are comfortable but they aren't elastic so it's hard getting them over my hips. They have a draw string but with a bigger butt and smaller stomach, it looks awkward. They are good for climbing and and super comfortable once you get them on.

Super climbing pants, if you can get them on.

These pants are a nice lightweight, durable fabric for climbing and look great once they are on, but if you are curvy, forget about getting these on in the first place. I have a pretty narrow frame and low rise pants fit me best as my waist and hips are pretty straight. I usually wear a 4 or 6 in patagonia. These pants are pretty hard to pull on over my hips, but once on, they are great. If you need to make an emergency pit stop, forget about pulling these suckers off quickly. I wish they had made the drawstring stretchy so you don't have to wiggle to get these pants on.

no, they are too thin. for winter sports, you need something more waterproof, like goretex.

I love these pants. I am a size 2 in street clothes and the 2 fits well. They are lightweight but durable. Very comfy too. They're great for climbing since they are so stretchy.
