Patagonia Airius Running Hat - 2007 BCS

Best running/hiking/casual hat ever made, Patagonia’s Airius lightweight fast drying fabric and air mesh side panels absorb and keeps sweat from beading down into eyes, plus the long brim offers plenty of sun protection and if you feel like getting a little sun just flip brim up also wears just as comfortable backwards. The Patagonia Airius gets better with age and is machine washable; you’ll be a happy camper with this purchase.

This is very light weighing just over an ounce. It’s well ventilated and has a good deep bill for sun protection. Excellent for trail running and general fast and light activities. A little fragile when rubbing against granite.

It's very well ventilated. For the price, however, I thought it should have been a lot more comfortable. The inside felt scratchy against the skin. But it's highly breathable and kept me cool in 80F weather with a t-shirt underneath.

What more can I say, this hat stays on my head, is lightweight enough to tuck in my pocket and has a great large bill for sun protection. This hat will be on every run and hike I take this summer.
