The Patagonia Active Classic Cami's built-in shelf bra adds support to your days on the trail while the ultra-soft material keeps you comfy long after the sun sets. Tube construction eliminates seams from the form-fitting Active Classic Cami to give you even more comfort on the trail or around town.
Bottom Line: Patagonia designers concentrated on comfort, comfort, and comfort when they made the Active Classic Cami.
I wear one of these almost every day, under almost every kind of shirt. I'm very pleased with the fit and find them very comfortable. With my big chest, I appreciate the extra bit of support and smoothing the built-in bra provides. These are more than just underwear, though. On warm days, they're very cute and flattering tank top which look awesome with a pair of jeans.
I like this cami because it has a "360 degree" bra underneath. It is not a shelf bra, it has a reinforced strip of stretchy fabric where the band for a shelf bra would normally be but, this one is soft; the same as the material on the rest of the cami. The 360 part is the fact that there is support all around each breast with a little give right in the middle. I much prefer these to a typical shelf bra which, usually only have a band of elastic at the bottom. This is more comfy than most bras because there are no seams except for around the top which, makes it even more comfy. These run a bit small, especially if your bra size is larger. I believe that they might shrink a little bit after the first wash. As for wicking, these are much better than cotton but, in my opinion, not better than polartec. Not being super impressed with coolmax, i think these are on par with coolmax as far as wicking.

I love this top..and have since bought another color! I have worn it both as a bra underneath another top as well as alone. I've also worn it to Bikram yoga. It isn't the most wicking top, but is definitely a great supportive hiking and general activity top (I do think I could run in it no problem though). I did buy a size M based on other reviews, as I normally wear a S. I'm glad I did, because it fits perfectly. I think a S may have cut a little too close under the armpits but the M is perfect. For reference, I'm 5'5 and weigh 107 lbs-34A bra.
Nice fit and super comfy, I don't ever want to take off. Tip I wear size M but had to get a L in this top cause the M was too tight in the armpits (ouch). I'll be getting another one soon.
I bought a few of these in the white and the natural colors. The fit was perfect, not too big or small for me anywhere. A problem I had was color stains in the white. During a few trips the dirt was very dark and it stained it completely, nothing has taken it out, only lightened it. Luckily I have a second white to play nicely in and the other to be dirty. Second is the wicking and drying, only a mediocre for those items. It is definitely an active casual top, not active active top.
I don't know, I bought it, and I never wear it. It's not a bad product but it's just not comfortable. Fine for wearing under things, I guess the detail they think women want with the side design ...well it's just silly. No shape, just scary uniboob scenario. No redeeming qualities except i'm sure it wicks well, and travels well. I wouldn't bother with this item. This item is rad though: patagonia pinback top, but BC doesn't carry it
