Description

Sweater looks—fleece feel.

You want the heat-trapping power of fleece, but you don’t want to look like a fuzzy bunny. The Men’s Patagonia 1/4-Zip Better Sweater has a sweater-knit exterior for a clean, sharp look and a fleecy, heat-holding interior. It is warm enough to wear as a jacket in cool weather, or (when things get really chilly) wear it under a shell as an insulating mid-layer. Raglan sleeves lend to the athletic aesthetic and keep you comfortable if you’re slinging a pack.

Rugged but soft. You can wear it anywhere and it fits perfect. Ordered a Medium im 5'11 165 and it was just right. I ordered it in Dill Green and the color is awesome. Definitely stands out and get lots of compliments.

Got it this past weekend for cool mornings and nights while walking around and around town. With fall approaching I wanted an casual pull over that I can wear out and about. Fits true to size and is soft in middle. Zipper is nice that doesn't catch on neck even when fully up. No drawstring cords but the fleece lining makes it feel snug and warm without being tight or constrictive.

The Better Sweater is amazing!
If I'm looking for a warm sweater with a bit of class, this is definitely my go to. I love the brightness of patagonia's colors - I definitely get plenty of compliments on this guy. If you are in between sizes, I'd go with the smaller size (I have a Medium Patagonia R1, but a small better sweater and small super cell jacket)

I ordered this for my brother-in-law for skiing in New England. The size Large men's sweater was not close to a 'normal' Large so my busy sister had to go through the hassle of returning this Christmas gift. Bummer...

Is this sweater true to size or do they run slim? I normally wear an XL and I like to have some room, but not where it'll look too baggy.

The Better Sweater has a regular fit. I personally find it to be a bit more relaxed.

Agree with Mitch, it felt a little relaxed. I ordered a L, which I normally wear, and am exchanging for a M.

This color, Storm, looks different on this site than on Patagonia's site. Can someone vouch whether it's as blue on backcountry's photo or more grey, like on Patagonia's page?

It'll be closer to the color you see here. I know a guy at Patagonia and they're notorious for awful product photos on their own website.
