Like all Park tools-works great

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I've tried repairing chains with the chain tool on my multi-tool and on a small unit by another manufacturer-always struggled. Finally broke down and bought this baby-no struggles any more-drives a pin out effortlessly. I've used on both 10 and 11 speed Sram and Shimano. Hard to go wrong with Park tools.

Will this tool work on Shimano 11 spd chains?

Hi Bill,

This chain tool will work with Shimano 11 speed chains as well as the new 22 series SRAM 11 speed chains. The only 11 speed option currently available that it will not work with to the best of my knowledge is Campagnolo.

Reliable, solid addition to the toolbox

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Sure, the Park Tools products aren't cheap, but they do the job very well, are reliable and last; which must be why I find a growing number of them amongst my collection.

Only used this on Shimano 10 speed chains, but this does the job very nicely.
