Description

You can stop throwing tools across the shop now.

Anyone who has dealt with a heavy, wire-bead DH or freeride tire knows how tough it can be to change it. The Park Tool TL-5 Heavy Duty Tire Lever Set (two levers) has what it takes to deal with this problem. Tight, stiff-bead tires that would snap plastic levers like twigs are no match for steel TL-5 Levers. Not only are they strong, but these heavy-duty tire levers are a full eight inches long for added leverage when you need it most.

Versatile

Great for that tire that just won't budge, gives lots of extra leverage. Will mar the rim a bit, but usually not noticeable. The best thing about these levers is how excellent they are for removing dust and oil seals from your fork lowers. Literally the best tool for the job. Rounded tip won't damage the bores like a screwdriver would.

You want a lever? That's a lever!

These things are burly. like really burly. Much larger than one would think. They are nearly 8" long and 1" wide in some spots. They for sure get the job done when you have a needy tire. A little heavy to carry in a pack, OK, way too heavy to carry in a pack.

Never say "I can't get this tire off"

I sure you have had that tier that you thought you would never get off, well that will never happen with the Park Tool Heavy Duty Steel Tire Lever Set. The only down side is that they can dent your rim depending on how soft they are or leave a some bad marking on them. So you will have to take your time and let the tool do all the work. I wrapped a little bit of electrical tape around the tip. It will add some protection but only good for one uses. Just make sure you just us them for popping the bead off, don't slide them all the way around or you might leave a sliver mark around your new black rims.

Must have

If you are struggling with little wimpy levers anywhere but on the trail, you are missing the boat. I keep a pair in my car and a pair in my garage.
