Hit it hard.

The Park Tool RT-1 Headset Cup Remover is used in conjunction with your favorite hammer to make lots of noise as you pound out headset cups. Another essential tool if you plan on doing headset installations at home. The RT-2 fits 1-1/4 and 1-1/2 inch headsets, the RT-1 fits 1, 1-1/8, and 1-1/4 inch headsets and it also works to remove press fit 30 (PF30) Bottom Brackets.

What is the difference between the RT-1 and the RT-2?

Responded on

RT-2 is designed for the 1-1/4 inch and 1-1/2 inch headset standards.

RT-1 fits 1”, 1-1/8” and 1-1/4” headsets.

*The RT-1 will also remove the PressFit 30 (PF30) bottom bracket units. The PressFit 30 inside diameter is the same as headset cups, and are pressed in the same manner.
