Description

Get a winter Grip.

The Pajar Canada Women's Grip Boot combines waterproof construction with rugged looks and a tiny bit of downtown lace-up style. Slide into this warm boot for trips to the lodge and to the backcountry cabin.
  • Waterproof leather and nylon outer keeps your toes dry as you tromp through snow and slush
  • Wool lining boosts warmth
  • Removable insole helps air the Grip out after a long day
  • Anti-slip outsole means you're less likely to face-plant on slippery walks

Which boot is warmer and better for winter in the mountains, Denise or Grip?
Thank you!

Responded on

Pajar does not list temp ratings for their boots, but based on the construction of these boots and reviews I have read, I would say that the Denise will be slightly better than the Canada Grip as far as ruggedness and warmth for mountain activity.

Dave,
I don't think I understand your question. If you will let us know what size and color you would like, we will either see if it is in stock or let you know when we will be able to get it back in stock.

Thank you.

Remy,
I checked our system just to be sure and it looks like we do not have this boot in stock in a 38.

Wanted to like them, but didn't

  • Gender: Female
  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I bought a slightly different model- (the dark blue model, but different treads on the sole), sent them back. The tall Cordura-like fabric upper collapsed in folds on either side of the ankle bone and started to rub. Maybe with thick enough socks it wouldn't be a problem, but I felt that if a person actually walked in these for an hour, they'd have no skin left in that region. I bought Pajar because of the hype about them being made in Canada - but everything on the boot is manufactured in China. Maybe the label is embroidered in Canada. Other models are probably great , maybe this one is, too, if your ankle bone is in a different place than mine was -dunno. They are definitely cute.

I've had these boots for two years now and at first, I had the same ankle rub problem. I had to bend the leather surrounding the heel but once I wore them a week I've had no problem. In fact, they're the best snow boots I've ever had. Light, warm yet breathable, good traction.. everything a snow boot should be without the big chunky sole that too many boots have. Love them!
