The Wxtex Pneumo-Mech Dry Bag adds compression straps to the Pneumo to make packing easy. Compression straps and the purge valve allow you to compress the dry bag as small as possible, so you can conserve space in your pack. The Pneumo-Mech has a roll top and double seal opening. I got the medium sized Pneumo-mech to use as a waterproof stuff sack for a sleeping bag. I haven't had the bad luck to be able to know how waterproof it is, but it is an effective stuff sack and it has more room than a needed for a sleeping bag. It is well made and looks like it ought to be an effective dry sack.

I bought this to use on a canoe trip as stuff sack and dry bag for my sleeping bag. It worked very well as a compression sack: it was very easy to squeeze all the air out. Fortunately, I never got to do the acid test of a swamp or capsize, but the fact that no air had seeped in at the end of the end of the day would indicate it holds its seal. The seams, straps and hardware seem sturdy, but I don't know how the bag itself would stand up to a lot of abrasion. All in all, a useful, well-thought out product.
