comfy, but not at all durable

If all you want is one season's worth of camping, go for it, otherwise it won't last you. It's comfortable and packs down to be super small and light, and the bumpers are a great touch for keeping you on the pad.

Downside, though: after one season of using it (about 1 month during a bike trip - always slept in the tent with a footprint underneath, never on anything abrasive or sharp), it started leaking. I figured "okay, it got some use, I'll patch it, it's a nice pad." Patched the two tiny tiny holes I found, still didn't hold air. Put it back in the bathtub, and that time it was absolutely *covered* in tiny holes - 2 or 3 dozen at least just in the couple feet at the foot end.

So yeah, their basic design principles are good, it's just that the material completely gives up after not long enough. Sounds like I'm not alone in having this problem, either, based on reviews I've seen around the web.

what is the ground cost of shipping to St. louis mo and what is the cost of the pad and can i have it by monday?

Best Answer Responded on

The cost of shipping will depend on what you pay for (2-day, standard, whatever). Put the item in your cart and go to the checkout and it will ask for a zip code, then you'll know. The cost of the pad is at the top of the page in large red letters with a dollar sign next to it. It looks like a price. And finally, you can definitely get it by Monday if you pay for the right shipping.

Easily develops leaks

It was a bad pad even because it was thin, but then it developed multiple leaks. I did not have the money to replace it during my fall semester of school and kept attempting to repair it. Get a different pad. It is a good concept and rolls down to a small size, but there are too many negatives.

Great for a hammock

I got this pad to use in my hammock - works great. The mummy style doesn't get bumped up in the corners, and it keeps me warm. Plus, it packs super small and inflates pretty well. It takes a couple breaths to fill the side guard tubes, but that's no problem.
