I just got back from a two week road trip. The mat is great. My girlfriend and I slept well on it, better than any night camping I've had before. Yeah, it's a little big, but that's what I was looking for.

I have a Toyota Tacoma with a carpet kit; I bought this mat for use in the back of my truck, and I have since used it as a spare bed for guests at my house. It has two giant brass valves for fast inflation, and a velvety soft sleeping surface. It is 2 1/2 inches thick which offers plenty of warmth and comfort. It will fit perfectly in trucks with a platform above the wheel wells, and it comes with a stuff sack and a repair kit.

The mega Mat Sleeping mat offers the comfort you would expect of a product in this price line. However, you need your big pick-up truck when you go camping, because even if you are able to get the mat back into its bag, it remains a large item to carry or store. The advantage of self-insulating mats (easy to use and carry along) gets a bit lost.
