Are these bags machine washable? I've had mine for a couple of years and they are in need of a thorough cleaning. If I put it in the washer, will it remain waterproof?

All dry sacks will float, if sealed correctly, and if the contents don't outweigh the buoyancy of the stuff sack... This particular one has a sleeping pad type of valve that is used to release the air after the lid is folded and buckled closed... I will sometimes blow a little air into this to help...
